Tom Adams has posted an interesting video on the Green Energy Act Paradox in which he addresses the apparent disconnect between the heavy handed measures of Ontario’s Green Energy Act and public support for the legislation.
To explain this political success, Adams suggests we follow the funding trail in order to uncover the unholy alliance between the McGuinty government and the environmental and industry lobby groups it funds.

Tom Adams is right on target. This whole thing is very disturbing. It is stuff like this that motivated me to start this blog.

Yes indeed. Tom Adams has a lot of great empirical studies that rip the wind industry’s claims about wind energy efficiency to shreds. I really believe that ‘green-washing’ something as important as energy infrastructure is extremely dangerous and horribly costly. Also where is the official opposition in calling out this flawed legislation? I know they went right after the auditing powers that the bill entailed but that’s just the tip of the iceberg with the GEA.

If you google Green Energy Act, the first link is for a lobby group, of which many of the members are funded by the government.
If you are not paying attention, you could easily mistake the site for an official Ontario government site. These guys are in bed together.

The way this all happened and the way they are now enforcing it (a farce of “public consultation”) is incredibly corrupt. This is not just typical beaurocratic bungling, this is planned, manipulated and sinister to the core.

The Wind Industry and McGuinty’s Gang Green are about to be exposed on a massive scale and should really back away from this “Scam” as fast as possible.
I doubt this will happen as they never admit they are wrong and will “go down with the ship of fools” after destroying so many peoples lives and homes with no regrets!
We are being led down the path of misery by a complete bunch of heartless, power hungry greed merchants!
